Named Clothing Virna Mini Top Pattern Review

I may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

I have really been in a sewing rut lately!! I always need something quick, and NEW to sew, to get me back on track! This top absolutely did that for me!! I plan on making it into a dress, as well as a jumpsuit with pants 🙂 It’s very versatile! Here are the details below on this pattern. I will update this post later today with more detailed photos.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes Very much So!!!!!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, they were very easy to follow!! But they do advise, that they are just a guide, and you can do what feels comfortable to you!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I loved everything about it!! Please make sure to READ the pattern first 🙂 So that you print out the correct size!!
Fabric Used:
I used Ponte De Roma from www.fabric.com , absolutely gorgeous!! I’m also going to make this in a stretch denim 🙂
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The only thing that I changed, I hemmed the bottom 🙂 Thats just what I prefer (with my twin needle, and with Stretch Thread in the bobbin)
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I’m sewing it again RIGHT NOW!!
Conclusion:
This is a great pattern, It doesn’t have very many pieces, and it’s pretty quick to sew up 🙂 Especially once you have the pattern cut out. The next time you make it will go really quickly!!
