This dry rub seasoning is amazing ! This is one of my “go-to” blended seasoning. I think this was actually my first “homemade” spice. It’s almost crazy to call it “homemade” because all you have to do is mix all of the ingredients together! It’s so easy!! It really makes no sense to not make your own spices. It’s so beneficial to be able to control the salt content in your mixed spices. So far I’ve made a Jerk Spice Seasoning (which I plan to post soon) , Sazon seasoning and this Dry Rub Seasoning. Making your own spices is so rewarding!

All-Purpose Dry Rub Seasoning
- ¼ cup ground cumin
- ½ cup paprika
- ¼ cup kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons mustard powder/Flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
- ¼ cup chile powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Chipoltle Chile Pepper / Or Cayenne Pepper (optional)
- ¼ cup granulated garlic
Mix all ingredients together and place in an airtight container for later use. You can use this on chicken, vegetables, pork, or beef!
