Homemade Chicken Broth

This is a really simple homemade chicken broth recipe that you can use as a foundation and adjust to your liking! The broth can be made with or without salt. The choice is yours! The longer you allow it to cook the better your flavor will be. You want it to have a really beautiful rich color in the end.
The recipe below makes about 6 Cups of Homemade Chicken Broth. What I do not use that day I freeze. When I freeze them, I measure out 2 cups, so that I know how much each container is. I normally freeze them in ice cube trays, I am able to fill up a little less than 2 cups in one tray.
Freezing it makes it even more convenient!! I try my best to make as much as I can at one time – so that I can freeze it and have it on hand at a later date!! I’ve also made shrimp broth, and beef broth(when I ate beef) – All are really easy and inexpensive to make because you use “scraps” most of the time. I will have a post on my shrimp broth soon 🙂 Stay tuned!
I hope you enjoy!
