I’m sorry the photos aren’t the best!! Unfortunately right now I have to be my own photographer. Isn’t my studio (work bathroom) glamorous ? lol.
Pattern Description: Margo is a curve-loving pencil skirt that transitions you from a day in the office to a night on the town.
Pattern Sizing: XS – 3XL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes , very much so!
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were very easy to follow. I love PDF/indie pattern makers because the instructions tend to be more “down to earth” and easy to understand.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I did NOT like that the pattern did not call for elastic. Thankfully I already had elastic on hand so I added it myself. Very easy fix.
Fabric Used: I used a textured Ponte .
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I already mentioned that I added elastic.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Oh yea, this is a staple pattern! This will probably be my go-to pencil skirt pattern for knits. 🙂
I love this pattern and would suggest it to anyone looking for a pencil skirt. I feel it can also be easily adjusted if you need a size larger than 3X or smaller than XS.
